Putney Cottage

Putney Cottage is a four bedroom female service based in a flat in a Victorian house.

In this service, we support people with learning disabilities, autism, and also with mental ill health. The age range is from eighteen up to forty. The women who live here have formed bonds and frequently do activities together, such as meditation, yoga, walks and mindfullness practice. Service users are mostly supported by female staff in this service, and the priority and direction of this service is all about well being.

Our support team works closely with health professionals to ensure our support dovetails with the guidance and frameworks provided by those teams. Our ultimate aim is to encourage our people to be as practical as possible and to take their challenges step by step and to be open to the support that is available to them. We are very pleased for our people here who always move forward with courage.

Putney Cottage is a seven bed beauty, a red brick terraced house. It's got four bright bedrooms on the ground floor, two airy bedrooms on the top floor and a one bed self contained apartment in between. The community living spaces are large and airy, and each floor has it's own kitchen and dining room. It's got a fab patio, wonderful for summertime barbecues.

It's based in South-west London in Putney, close the embankment and Putney Common. Close to the river, with an easy walk to both the tube and the trains. Add in the vibrant community life, and the convenient amenities we are ideally placed for independent living.
